My Bio
I am a magazine editor, who puts his bachelors in poetry to use on the side, along with painting with acrylics and ink drawing. My speciality is lines. Some may consider my work the cliche tribal style, but I don't. My lines are crisper, tighter and a lot more intricate I feel. I have been drawing these designs for a few years now and have recently made the conscious effort to put them on canvas with pain. The process is long and sometimes tedious, but at the end it's well worth it.

Some things are like riding a bike, where you never forget. Then there's drawing and a few other things. I used to draw constantly when I was younger. I took as many art classes as I could. Drawing, sculpting, building -- and then I started writing. My drawings dwindled and my writings grew. Overtime I feel that I've forgotten how to draw, but I'm determined to learn it all again. I'm still writing, but I feel I am at a place where I can grasp balancing the two out. I need to learn to devote time to both, maybe combine the two. Either way, it's my mission this year to find my abilities again and then refine them.

I've been a constant procrastinator. Whether it's in my writing, my artwork, it doesn't matter I would always find a way to put it off. In 2011 I moved to New York City for my job and I believe that was the beginning of me breaking out of this habit. I love my job, more than ever now as the burn out level has changed. Now I am able to focus my spare time on actual projects that I want to do. Before the move, I used to be so exhausted with a head full of mush that trying to create something that would meet my approval was hard to do. I spent last year focusing on my career and now I've dedicated 2012 to my passions outside of my daily grind (
